Investment approach
NARS+ endeavors to generate steady returns over the medium term, with reduced volatility, by investing in a multi-asset portfolio. The strategy aims to deliver 15-17% on gross basis by employing a multi asset class long/short strategy, with an aim to generate optimal returns through diversified portfolio across asset classes to smoothen out volatility. The Fund may also invest in currency derivatives and commodity derivatives. Based on the market conditions, the Investment Manager, in its discretion and subject to AIF Regulations, may take long or short positions through any available instruments as permitted under the AIF Regulations including but not limited to listed cash equities, stock and index derivatives, currency derivatives, commodity derivatives, fixed income securities like corporate bonds. The Fund may also participate in special situations such as turn-arounds, mergers, de-mergers, corporate restructuring, open offers, IPOs, arbitrage opportunities etc.
The startegy aims to generate steady absolute returns over a 12-month + horizon, with reduced volatility, by investing predominantly in debt with balanced allocation across other asset classes, including special situations, equities and commodities. The fund follows a yield-oriented approach, with an aim to offer 15-17% gross returns through low-risk and low-exposure strategies across uncorrelated / low correlation asset classes to smoothen out portfolio volatility.

Over last 15 years have built a strong track record of generating significant alpha across all market phases. Driven by the philosophy that one should marry their profits and not stocks, I seek opportunities where the risk reward balance is asymmetric. Getting the big picture right has been my forte which eventually has helped spot the global and domestic market trends early on. Was one of the earliest member of the equity desk at Reliance Industries' Treasury. I was instrumental in building and institutionalising the investment process, operations, research capabilities as well as scaling up and managing AUM of ~USD1bn. Currently working with Nuvama Asset Management to scale up the listed equities business, where I am excited to leverage my deep domain expertise in fund management and fundamental research capabilities across asset classes.
