Armor Platform Terms and Conditions

This document is an electronic record in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000. By accessing the Armor platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.

These Terms are applicable to all users accessing the "Platform" and using "Services" operated by YB Technologies Private Limited (formerly PowerUp), with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.

1. Key Definitions

  • "Platform": Digital technology solutions owned/operated by Armor, including https://yourarmor.ai/ and associated mobile applications.
  • "Services": Includes the Your net worth summary, Your investment scenarios, investment advisory services, Ask me anything chat driven by Armor Proprietary AI model and decision-support tools provided directly or through SEBI/RBI registered advisors.
  • "User": Any individual (18+) or legal entity registered on the Platform.
  • "Partner": Third-party SEBI-registered intermediaries or financial institutions providing specific advisory or execution services.

2. Nature of Services (Advisory and Decisions)

Armor acts as a facilitator of financial intelligence.

  • Facilitation: Armor provides the technology to access financial planning and advisory services. This is driven by Armor Proprietary AI model and SEBI Registered Advisory experts inhouse.
  • No Direct Liability: Contracts for specific financial products or regulated advice are directly between you and the identified Service Provider/Partner. Armor is not liable for losses resulting from the acts or omissions of these third-party providers.
  • Decisions: While the Platform provides "Smart Scenarios" and decision-support tools, all final financial actions are taken by you. Armor does not execute trades autonomously.

3. Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18 years old, a tax resident of India, and possess a valid Indian mobile number and bank account.

4. Your Armor Account

  • Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of data provided for KYC and financial planning.
  • Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account activity.
  • Consent: You expressly consent to receive communications via SMS, email, or WhatsApp regarding transactions, alerts, and marketing.

5. Data, Privacy, and Intellectual Property

  • User Data: You retain ownership of your data but grant Armor a royalty-free right to process it to provide and improve Services.
  • Anonymized Data: Armor may use aggregated, non-identifiable "Usage Data" for analytics and benchmarking.
  • Intellectual Property: All software, algorithms, and content on the Platform are the exclusive property of Armor and its licensors.

6. User Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for competitive benchmarking or commercial exploitation.
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to discover the source code of the Platform.
  • Use automated means (scripts/crawlers) to access the Services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Armor and its Group Companies, Officers, Employees, Agents, Suppliers and Licensors, Relating to the platform and any other item provided pursuant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or data). Armor's aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 50,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifty Thousand Only).

8. Termination

  • By User: You may close your account at any time.
  • By Armor: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for suspected violations of law, breach of terms, or aggressive behavior toward our staff.

9. Disclaimers

  • "As Is": The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted access or specific investment returns.
  • No Guarantee: Financial markets involve risk. Armor does not guarantee the performance of any investment suggested through the advisory partners.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore. In the event of a dispute, parties shall first attempt amicable resolution within 30 days, failing which it may be referred to a sole arbitrator in Bangalore.
